I know it's common practice to put a bio or artists statement here. If you are actually reading these words, consider yourself one of the rare few who might care about a photographer's point of view. Really, why should you? Look at the pictures!
I've tried for many years to have one – that is, an easy description of what I do, the images created. What I find interesting comes from disparate ideas and varied visual approachs. So, 'I do Projects' – and, I feel successful if each new project is totally different from the last. But, they are united in an approach that is becoming simpler as time goes on....
So here's the thing – I think about the thing – photograph the thing – create a thing.
Things interest me, they give me visual ideas, and I love the print, that's the thing. Kind of a Formalism.
